Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. If you call or email, please allow 24 hours for us to get back to you. If contacted over the weekend regarding a consultation, we will get back to you Monday morning. Thank you for understanding that we need some free time too!

Pick up:

Allow a 1-2 hour window for dogs that get picked up. Some days there could be longer than usual drop-off, car issues, traffic, etc. that can cause drivers to run late. Thank you for being understanding.

2021 Holidays:

Below is a complete list of holidays that The Balanced Dog LLC is closed. In certain circumstances that are pre-arranged, we may be able to accommodate you on a holiday.  If you need a walker for a holiday, let us know as far in advance as possible. There is no guarantee but we will do our best to accommodate your situation. The additional fee charged for holidays will be discussed and determined at the time of your request.

FAQs

What is the pick-up time range?


On PetPocketbook, where clients can book a service, there is a pick-up time range listed.  We will always try to arrive for pick-up at the same time, however, on occasion, there may be delays.

Do you offer discounts for boarding?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a discount for boarding over multiple weeks.  Our boarding services include two one-hour walks daily and each day requires the same amount of time and resources to care for your furry family member.

How far in advance do I need to book a walk?


Current clients can schedule walks for the upcoming week by 7 pm on Sundays. Any last-minute requests (48 hours in advance) are subject to a $5 booking fee. We will try our best to accommodate late requests, but cannot guarantee it. For new clients, we cannot accommodate walks requested without a meet-and-greet.

We are pet sitting another dog, can you walk this dog?


Unfortunately, we are unable to add another dog to the scheduled walk.  Our client onboarding process includes getting up-to-date medical records and having a meet-and-greet to understand the dog's temperament and personality.  There is no exception for temporary pet sitting situations.

How far in advance do I need to book for boarding?


If it's around or on a holiday, 2-3 months is an ideal time to book a boarding service because of limited availability.  For any other time, a couple of weeks in advance is recommended.
